I had recently watched Akira Kurasawa's Throne of Blood, which is a remake of Shakespeare's MacBeth. Spoiler alert, the main character dies at the end. But the death scene was so iconic, I just felt the need to take a shot at it. I did another one in shades of grey. Both were done in one sitting.
