Ice Cream and Guns 10x20 Acrylic painting on canvas
This series was to be inspired by a nightmare I had while I was on the USS Bonhome Richard in 2015. Said dream even made it into the narrative of one of my books.
I was reading in the room from The Raven, lamenting about my wife who was buried that morning, then lightning stuck, she kicked down the door and said “When there’s no room left in Hell, Penelope shall walk the earth.” Then we went out for ice cream and she made me carry a gun in case she turned into a zombie.
